Who Am I?

Find a group of people who challenge and inspire you, spend a lot of time with them, and it will change your life forever (Amy Poahler Actress)

And we totally agree. The Fit Works Training Team pride ourselves on having a team that is empowered, inspiring and there to support. We wanted to introduce our team and so we have to start with our wonderful founder, Pippa Lance. 

How did you get started? 

I wanted to be a teacher but after school, I fell into a career working in accounts and progressed there for nearly 10 years before I decided it was time to change for something I actually enjoy. I enjoy fitness and encouraging others and I have never looked back!!

What are your qualifications? 

I have my PT qualification and recently got my Level 3 sports massage therapy. For the mothers out there, I wanted to truly understand fitness so I am Buggy Fit and Pre/ Post Natal qualified – while currently finishing advances pre and post natal courses, while also getting my qualification in with Holistic core restore® which covers things such as pelvic floor foundation, Diastasis, prolapse, hysterectomy, bump, 4th trimester. This is not only for mothers but for all women! 

I am currently studying the 3rd age women and the effects of exercise and nutrition 😊

What is your favourite session? 

I love a weighted HIIT session. I like to keep it intense and short now that I have less time for myself with the boys around. It means I do not stop myself from working out as I can fit in 20 to 30 minutes of high intensity fitness. 

How do you relax? 

My family time is when I get to relax. I love to spend time with my family and it is my calming place, even if it gets a little bit mad sometimes. 

What is your favourite nutritious dish? 

My favourite dish is stir fry with plenty of crunchy veg. I could eat this all the time and to make sure that I am keeping my variety, I can add different spices and herbs. 

What’s your cheat day meal? 

My Fave cheat meal…. normally cake 😂😂😂Cheat meals every so often means that I am not limiting myself, which can get us down and end up binging. Its all about balance. 

What inspires you? 

To be honest, it is my clients inspire me. They want to make a change and put in great effort to do so! They are forever improving, and I love watching the change!!

What is your Top tip? 

Don’t beat yourself up, keep on making the good changes, and if you slip up it’s ok, you can still move forward. It’s all about balance 😊
